Iana Niknezhad

Undergraduate Student

Iana is from Virginia Beach, VA, and is an undergraduate student at the University of Virginia pursuing a degree in Human Biology. Iana spends much of her time volunteering at the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center, researching and teaching STEM to socioeconomically disadvantaged populations. She is interested in pursuing her passions in the intersection of medicine, global health, and humanities.

Outside of the lab, Iana is a ballerina and enjoys reading, spending time with friends, and baking.
